Across from The Harbour Bar is the Fish Merchant, Stephen’s. You could never tell that it sells the most delicious and fresh smoked fish but you need to be on the ball for their famous hot smoked salmon.
Walk into a piece of history to the back of the building, you will see the traditional Smoke House. It’s certainly a unique experience if you time it right you will see the action! Monday and Wednesday mornings they smoke the fish.
The Quayside is both a restaurant and a takeaway. It has won several awards and especially for its mouthwatering fish and chips. The menu is extensive and it is very popular. Eat the takeaway on the harbour, at The Harbour Bar with a couple of drinks or overlooking the harbour with its marine views in The restaurant above.
